slices
a round as a stack of sections, with the gaze threaded through it
what am I looking at?
Each card is one frame, in time order, receding into depth — so the third
axis is time, not space. The bright dots are the gaze samples
recorded while that frame was on screen, placed between the cards at the
moment they were taken, and the thread joins them in order: a saccade is a
long sideways jump, a fixation is the thread running straight back through
the stack. Drag to turn it, scroll to zoom. A block-noise stimulus is
regenerated from its seed; a dream round, and a latent session's stimulus
along with it, is read from its sprite sheet. Frame times
come from frames.csv — the page never guesses start + i/fps.
Keep every off 4: the decoder packs four frames per latent and the
clip carries a four-frame colour cycle (lag-4 correlation 0.87 against
0.05 at lag 1), so a stride of 4 samples one phase and the stack comes
back one flat hue.
